Jean-Christophe Gallagher

Jean-Christophe Gallagher is Vice President and General Manager of the Customer Experience team at Bombardier Aviation, with a mandate to grow the company’s aftermarket business and ensure that the customer experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Mr. Gallagher oversees a worldwide network of parts, service centers and mobile response teams to offer Bombardier business aircraft customers the best possible service throughout the life cycle of their aircraft.

Since taking on this role in September 2016, Mr. Gallagher has instilled the call to action “Bring Our Jets Home” across his worldwide organization of 2,500 employees. To that end, the Customer Experience team has increased its service centre capacity, expanded its customer offerings and applied a relentless focus on customer satisfaction. Recent efforts have generated growth in the aftermarket business, indicating a strong future built on trust between Bombardier and its customers.

Formerly Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Innovation at Bombardier Business Aircraft, Mr. Gallagher was responsible for the strategic orientation of the organization, international business development and worldwide marketing activities.

Mr. Gallagher joined Bombardier in 2002 as an engineering professional in Advanced Product Development. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the fields of engineering, program management, strategy, communications and marketing.

Mr. Gallagher is active with several industry associations and agencies worldwide and sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Business Aviation Association.

He graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering majoring in Aerospace (Honours), and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. He earned his private pilot’s license in 1997. He is an accomplished photographer whose favourite subjects are his wife and two daughters.

Mr. Gallagher is based at Bombardier Aviation headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
